| Volunteer Area Director Area Directors are responsible for supervising, supporting and working with the House Captains and Ambassadors assigned to their area. They are responsible for ensuring the project and the budget is within guidelines. They will help to provide the resources needed to accomplish the work. The Area Director, along with the House Captain will ensure the scope of work has been completed, evaluating the project after the work is done. While CIA is a one day activity for most team members, Area Directors should assume they will be involved periodically over a several month period and they may have significant time involvement in the days before and after the CIA work day. Only through effective, dedicated House Captains, Ambassadors and Area Directors can CIA hope to achieve its goals of providing warmth, safety and independence to our homeowners and their families. |
